Change of Plans

I was supposed to go to my monthly scrapbooking group tomorrow. They meet from 9:30 am until 3:30 pm. I told them I wasn't sure I could make it but had decided to go. Now it is late and I am still up. I have a lot to do tomorrow because I have some eBay items I have to go to the post office and ship, and then tomorrow night we are going out to dinner with friends.
So I have just decided to sleep in a bit tomorrow, go to the post office in the morning to mail my eBay packages, and then come home and get some things done around the house. That will also give me time to get the dog out for a nice walk in the afternoon before we go out to dinner.
I really would like to spend time with my friends working on my scrapbook of our most recent cruise, but I think that will have to wait until next month so my day isn't quite so hectic.
Do you belong to any crafting or membership groups that get together monthly?

@Kouponkaren I like to talk to my neighbors, I do not like to be part of groups, right now I see no one, my husband cannot be vaccinated, so I want to protect him.

@LadyDuck I can be, or sometimes not. It depends on my mood. But the women in this group are my closest friends in town and I do like to keep in touch with them and their lives. We are a very supportive group.

@wolfgirl569 It was good. The highlight was going to the dog park with Jenny. We both had a good time, enjoyed the exercise and got some sunshine.

No I don't belong to any groups but being part of a scrapbook group does sound like fun. You do sound busy so maybe next month you'll be able to join them.

@Marilynda1225 I have an issue with my husband. I hate to clean and he likes a spotless house (which we don't have) and I always feel bad when I go...like he is thinking I should stay home and clean! He doesn't say it, but I get "the look" from him as I head out the door! He helps a little with the housecleaning but is elderly so can't do much. I try to make it every other month at least.

@sol_cee Um, that you like to scrapbook and that you show up at least once in a while! Some of the women in the group make cards instead of scrapbooks, but the crafting techniques are similar. One lady is in charge of sending out reminders when there is an upcoming meeting.

@JudyEv I suggested we have a group here like that. One that is not as limited to those who just scrapbook and make cards. I am sure there are a lot of other women out there that knot, crochet, paint, make jewelry, etc that would love to get together once a month and craft and encourage each other. We will see what happens with that idea.

@Kandae11 I don't stay for the whole time. I usually got from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm and go home for lunch with my husband and dog.

@gcwrites Maybe you should start a group with your friends? When the weather gets nicer you could meet outside if people are nervous about Covid?
