We do not have bad weather keeping us from school today.
I believe this is the first full week of attendance we have had since Christmas break.
Originally it was forecast for another awful winter storm today.
Now it is just cold.
One or two of those short weeks had to do with the calendar. That is, they were scheduled as short weeks. But two or three of the short weeks had to do with winter weather.
Some of our restrictions are lifting. They actually reopened the water fountains yesterday.

How can the children really learn anything with all the schedule changes and lack of school days? I feel bad for them.

It tried snowing yesterday and I just saw a few flakes drift by my window but I don't think it'll succeed. At least I hope not. But it is cold.
I remember morning announcements at school that advised us to not use the outdoor water fountain during the winter...

Yeah, THE NATIONAL DESK shows us weather in regions all over the U.S.; and yesterday they were talking about areas that had 'wind chills' ("Feels Like"-temperatures) of NEGATIVE-THIRTY 
And the restrictions MAY be lifting; but--since I don't have 'a job to do (outside of the home)' or 'a club to go to'--I haven't been to the store or -'out to eat' for 2 years, and I've gotten used to 'having my roommate pick up things at the store for me.'

Glad to know that some restrictions are lifted. Here the schools have started as well but students are less though. Take care
