Homemade Chicken Pot Pie and an interesting story from Ukraine

Tonight for dinner, the missus made homemade chicken pot pie. It was delicious. K insisted she just threw it together. She throws together better meals than I make when I really try.
In other news, reports are coming in from Ukraine about Russian troops surrendering to Ukrainians upon learning that Putin has sent them on a genocidal and illegal war. There has been no outside confirmation yet, but it would be awesome news if true.
The best news. Friday is upon us and the weekend is almost here.

@LadyDuck We, as a nation are not terrorists at heart. Nor are the Russian people. Putin, personally, has given his heart over to evil, and purposely bombing a hospital or a school or a daycare wouldn't bother him one bit. He's already threatening to kill the families of Ukrainian soldiers who don't surrender.

@DWDavis We have heard of one hospital that has been hit, this happens every time that there are bombings. So many hospitals have been destroyed in Syria by the rebels but also by allied bombs. In October 2015 Americans destroyed the hospital of Kunduz in Afghanistan and I do not believe it's because you are terrorists at heart, this happens when there is a war

Sadly there's always a conflict somewhere in the world but hopefully this instance is a media prank that when revealed will put the media out of business. We really need to get simple news stories not embellished ones so they can make big money.
I wonder if I could make something like that, it sounds delicious.

The pot pie looks really delicious, I would say hallelujah if that were true, I think during all the troubles this world already has the last thing anybody needs is a war. As that old song said let my people go, I hope you have a great Friday,

It would be fantabulous if all the Russian troops surrendered and instead protected Ukraine, however unfortunately very unlikely to happen.
