What do you call a person born on February 29th? Leapster, Leapling, or even Leap Day babies. I found these things about Leap Day babies to be interesting
It is said that one in 1,461 babies are born on February 29th.
There is one family living in Norway that has three children all born on Leap Day. The oldest was Heidi, born on February, 29,1960. Olav was the next born on February,29,1964. And the third was Leif-Martin who was born on February 29, 1968. One family in Utah has three children born on Leap Day too. That would be the Estes family who had Xavier born in 2004, Remington in 2008, and Jade, born in 2012.
And there is one person in the records that was born on February 29, 1812, and died on February 29, 1880. That was a British ruler by the name of Sir James Milne Wilson who was the Premier of Tasmania from 1869 to 1872.

We say Leap year baby because my husband sister was born on a leap year she is 26 years today and has only had 6 physical birthdays.

@celticeagle it’s just luck if someone does. My oldest was born the year before leap year and her due date was February 28th but she came a month early on Jan 28th.

I had a cousin born on leap day but they always celebrated his birthday anyway on 28th or first no matter. Way confusing.
