I was in an accident back in the late '70s, was thrown from the car, and got a bad hit on the head(my boyfriend died). Now I don't recall for sure but I think that may have been when I quit remembering my dreams. I do occasionally wake up and recall a fragment but it only lasts a second and then it is gone. I envy those people who do remember their dreams. How exciting! Some even have more than one each night. I am curious about mine but that is as far as it goes. Do you have them? Each night? More than one?

I'm sure I dream every night but I don't always remember what I dreamt of. One night I dreamt I was in a fight. I know this because I punched out the headboard and badly sprained my wrist.

Sounds like you get active during your dreams.

@celticeagle - Yes, I had a weird one last night, I have to write it down until I remember. One of our friend had a problem. My husband drove to his house, he told me to bring back the car because they needed to discuss serious matters. I did not know how to drive (in fact I do not have a driver license), but I sit in the car and drove the car through very narrow roads, but the roads became like a labyrinth and I could not find the exit. I woke up.

I don't always remember mine. I think it's normal for people to forget their dreams.

I've heard it is good to write them down quickly or you lose them.

I wonder if I have intense dreams. And I don't remember them? That'd be weird.

If you no longer have them, it wouldn't be from the accident (Sorry for your loss by the way). Some just stop remembering them, but we all have them.

I know we all have them. I just don't recall if my not remembering them occurred sometime before the accident or after.

I'm sorry for your accident and the loss of your boyfriend. I have dreams every night, very vivid; and I usually remember them when I wake up.

I wonder about him sometimes. Wish I recalled mine.
