Woke Up To Heavy Rain

Woke up to heavy rain and wind today. It has stopped for now but will return again soon. Tonight we will drop into the 30s F. After 80s F over the weekend, that will be a big temperature drop. Mother nature is reminding us who is in control. Spring is not here just yet. But soon it will be. Flowers will be blooming soon. Photo is mine. Snapped a photo from inside. This Blue Jay eating sunflower seeds in the rain. Can you see how wet he is?

It was bright and chilly here, but good for walking. I have been ringing the changes on the bird feeder and one morning it is suet pellets and the next meal worms. Keeps them on their toes!

The forecast says my area will get clear up to 35F today. It's 1:40 pm and 28F. I think the weather people lied... again. At least the storms have finally stopped. Try not to float away today.

We are dropping. Started out in the low 50s, now 40s. The rain has slowed up for now.

@CarolDM He must have enjoyed them so much that the rain did not bother him. That is a big drop in temperature. I hope nice weather will be upon you soon. Does it rain a lot where you are in summer? Here, when winter is over then the sun comes out and stays out.

The weather here is going to be similar for Weds. They even mentioned the possibility of snow. Yikes, I thought we were done with that. However, whatever falls will probably melt away immediately, so not a big deal. The ground is warm.

The Blue Jay is beautiful - the rain did not stop him from coming! We had some sprinklets the other day - that's about it - but we still have chilly wind. Stay warm out there!

He is very happy and enjoying his sunflower seeds. I was excited to see him stay so long. Others came after he flew to the tree.
