I Knew They Would Do It!

Could I have been partially right when I asked the question in my "Could Biden and Putin Be Working In Concert?" post?
What if you needed to explain away gas prices in another way just before a mid-term election cycle getting underway? What if you needed a reason other than the real one to explain away why gas prices are so high? What if you could you use this explanation to convince certain voters to "look the other way," and even forget about WHEN the prices actually started to rise?
It made me wonder when I read an article on CNBC today that ended by saying this:
Oil prices have climbed since Russia, a major producer, invaded Ukraine last month.
No. Not exactly. Yes. Oil prices have seen steeper increases since the Russia-Ukraine conflict—but it is not when oil prices began climbing. That started mostly when Joe Biden reversed Trump's energy policy.
But did I not also say this?
I am just saying people should be paying attention and listening very closely to what the new narrative becomes on gas prices, especially into the mid-term campaigns, and just keep it in mind that anything is possible.
I am not suggesting that Biden and Putin are in fact working in concert. But, it is undeniable that Biden and the media are doing exactly what I thought they would do.
To use the conflict to BE the main narrative about why gas prices are where they are. People will forget before the Ukraine invasion and only remember IT as being the reason.
I am telling you, folks. You REALLY have to pay attention to this stuff. Because the left is now working very hard to accomplish one thing and one thing only.
Bury the truth about why gas prices doubled under Biden BEFORE Ukraine ever happened.
Hell, at this point I would not even be the least bit surprised if the next solution is a taxpayer relief "refund" to help "suffering Americans put gas in their cars."
More free money, folks. You just wait. Perhaps if you can destroy the economy entirely, their idea of universal basic income might be just what they are actually trying to get done here.
Think I'm crazy? I was probably partially right about the gas price thing I wrote about very recently.
It is time to go a little bit off the deep end here and do a little bit of a 'This is what they would do to Trump' scenario. Or, 'this is what they would...

I honestly don't think there is a big enough scandal to hide the non stop mistakes that have been made by the Biden administration. It is all just pure embarrassment.
@Meggan All I know is that we are in a real mess here, and it is as worse as I have ever seen it. What I find most concerning is the lack of the ability of people to let go of their biases and just be honest.
I got accused of following along with every single thing Trump did just because I happened to have supported Trump. But there were MANY times I railed AGAINST Trump on certain issues and things he did that I did not like.
I try to make it clear I am not for or against a person. I am not for or against a party. I am not for or against an ideology. I am for or against POLICY. And as I always point out, I am an American FIRST and a republican SECOND. And just because I am a republican does not mean I automatically disagree with every democrat policy. Or even every position for that matter.
At the same time, being a republican does not mean I automatically agree with every policy or position on my side.
To me, if it is good policy that makes America safe, more prosperous, better as a nation, and offers things of value to Americans—I will support it and I don't care which side comes up with it. Equally, if it is bad policy, I am not going to support it without question JUST BECAUSE my side came up with it.

I hear this stuff and ask myself, how is America still standing? And of course, they are good at passing blame. That's like the theame song of the day.

For eight years it was all Bush's fault. Obama continuously said, "Bush left a heck of a mess for us. It will take time to fix it." Then he started saying about the economy when he couldn't fix that, "This is just the new normal, folks."
Trump came in and fixed almost all of it.
And then the American people lost their minds and voted for Biden, and Biden's destroying it faster than any other president before him. It's alarming really the speed at which he is doing it actually.
Worse than that is that it's now all TRUMP'S fault. lol. I mean, Biden got in there and within hours signed sweeping reversal executive orders of Trump policy and THEN went before the American people and said, "Look at this mess Trump left us."
Umm. Sir. A mess you signed into action within hours of taking your oath.

What bothers me more than anything these days is how we have forgotten to just to be Americans at the end of the day, and consider what's best for our country before we consider what party we want leading it and making that the automatic consideration driving our positions and views, and allowing some of us to put blinders on when things go wrong.
Granted, I could be accused of doing the same thing. Only, I have held many on my side accountable equally when they screw things up. And my side DOES screw things up.
George W. Bush had a lot of things policy wise I firmly disagreed with. I even disagreed with one of my political heroes Ronald Reagan.
BUT I have also admired democrats like JFK, and have applauded many of the policies of Bill Clinton.

You are right again. Just heard Biden himself blame Russia for our high gas prices when questioned by a reporter.

I have noticed the liberal media bias for a long time defending liberal leaders while lampooning patriot leaders.

@porwest That is true since many political experts are saying that we need a wake up call to quit living in a fantasy liars world before it is too late that media reports who want a global world will suffer the consequences of sleeping with the enemy.

@Deepizzaguy All I long for are minds that are thinking. I think that is what is lacking these days. The dishonesty notwithstanding.

The sad thing about the news media is that it USED to be an honorable organisation. It was still largely populated by mostly liberals. It's just been a long-standing culture of the media for whatever reason. The difference is that those journalists had integrity and were interested in the truth, and reported actual news the way it was supposed to be reported. Honestly and with integrity.
We are a far cry from that these days and it is actually damaging the country in ways I am not sure even the politicians could have done.
As I have said repeatedly over the years, I am not interested in D or R or left or right or liberal or conservative. I just want what's best for the country and for all Americans. No one side has all the right ideas, nor all the bad ones. And I think sometimes if we could remove the D and the R and liberal and the conservative from the conversation...
We might actually get somewhere.

I was watching the news and they said that around 8% of its demand the US takes oil from Russia. And for that US is saying the oil rates are getting high because of the war. The rates were increasing before the war too. But now they have something to fool people into why there is an increase in the rates.
