When was the last time you cried?

I was watching a scene from this heavy drama telenovela and I couldn’t help but notice how the main actress cried. Her tears were just falling naturally and her face was never contorted, I mean like how I imagine normal people would when they cry? She still looked beautiful while she was crying! Unbelievable! Lol ——— On the funeral of my father, everyone was wailing and bawling their eyes out. Except me maybe? I was crying silently, with my baby in my arms, then I noticed he was crying too while he was looking at me. Poor baby. ——- Today, I felt really bad. My husband said something which hurt my feelings and don’t get me wrong, he didn’t swear at me or used foul words. And even if I explained it to you, I’m sure you won’t get me why I was feeling like this. Anyway, must be women and how ultrasensitive we are?

@sol_cee It's not necessarily the ending that's sad. It might be sad in the middle of the book.

I always cry when I found any touching or sad scenes in a movie, a book or even an article. I guess I am ultrasensitive as well. Sometimes my husband might not mean that, but his words or actions hurt me. Sometimes, we just get affected more easily.... Hope you are feeling well now.

@sol_cee I read that it's just men and women perceive differently. Knowing and accepting the differences make me feel better now. After having two sons, I realized I really need to understand men or boys. If you wish, just let him know how you are feeling now.

I cry when emotions hit me real heavy or special memories come to mind or during a sad movie or when I hear a song that reminds me of the past,

@sol_cee Very much so. There are children a few months old, so they seem, needing help.

I know some may think that crying watching a sad movie may be funny or childish, but it also means that the story is convincing enough to tear up. The writer had done a good job.. and the plot works. So, we as the sincere audience feels touched and we end up tearing up for a bit.

I don't know why, but I can't cry over real life anymore. However I will tear up when it comes to certain scenes in movies or videos or music. I can be very sensitive, but I don't always let it be known.

It's human nature, as ugly as it seems. Mother nature can cause tears in me, during that special time of month. I've learned to embrace it.

I don't cry easily, and remember a time when I could not cry at all. Today however, as the cat is dying I am crying. It seems like a release of all sorts of grief for humans as well. I posted about it. Have not written here in ages but this was one of the places Freya the Catblog Cat blogged for a fair while.

Look, I'm very sensitive okay?! Let's see, this morning I cried twice just watching TikToks lol. One was of a dog who's been at the shelter for a really long time, this super sweet pit bull mix. He finally got adopted today and that made me cry. The other video was one where these parents were bringing in their toddler son and his big brother - who looked to be around 14-16, an older teen - was hiding behind the front door to surprise him. What the older one didn't know was that his older brother who'd been deployed for two years, stepped into the house behind the toddler so when this teen jumped out to scare the little one, he had this moment of shock seeing his older brother who he hadn't seen in two years. This kid jumped, like LEAPT, into his big brother's arms, all the way off the ground, and started crying immediately. I've never seen a video where a young man essentially cried like that seeing his loved one come home from the military. It made me cry lol. And then yesterday I had a full on sobbing, complete meltdown about my current failures in life which I do about once a year or so. Cried, took a breath, went back to work on stuff, life goes on. Everyone needs to let loose once in awhile.

Dog vids and movies are so heart-melting. Is that a word? I mean, I know what you meant. I watched this Hachiko movie and gosh, my heart broke into a million pieces. And so I said, never again.

Yesterday - when l was cutting up onions Ha.Do you communicate well with your husband? If so, then instead of bottling up the hurt inside, let him know that your feelings were hurt by what he said.

The last time I did was when I visited my father resting place for the first time. I also did the same with my Mom. I think losing a loved one is definitely the hardest emotional experience a person goes through
