Nice day today, a bit warmer than yesterday. It will be a good day to run off and do some errands. I will have to take a second mortage out on the house though to pay for the gas... I do have some gas, but I know it isn't going to make it there and back. Someone wrote a meme the other day, that they saw a lady put 10.00 of gas in her car at pump 3, and said where the H. is she going??? To Pump 4?..lol. I only wish it was a joke!

Just one of those things in language different names for the same thing. Like we using parking lot or parking garage instead of car park, trunks instead of bonnet. Take out instead of take away etc.

@snowy22315 I thought I read today petrol/gas prices were set to come down

@58lordstreet Maybe there, I don't think here. It would be awesome if they did though.

That is a good meme. I haven’t seen that one yet. I have to run to town for a few things as well. Glad it’s only a mile.

@snowy22315 yeah at these prices for gas it’s lucky I’m only a mile from town. In the summer I just walk but too cold with the baby to do that right now .

It's a mild and fairly warm day here too. I can't believe the price of gas here right now. It's insane. It's like 1.95 a liter.

Its really not a joke, but we have to consider that driving our gasoline powered vehicles to be a luxury, and then it doesn't hurt quite so much.

It isn't really a luxury in these parts. There is nothing you can walk to.

Gas here is already up to $4.50ish as of yesterday. Who knows what it is today. That joke is funny but hits too close to home. Guess we're going to have to think and rethink any trips outside of the house and if it's worth the gas to go. After being trapped in the house because of the pandemic now we're going to be stuck worrying about having to pay for outrageous gas prices.

I know, we can't catch a break here...but at least our problems pale in comparison to those poor people in Ukraine and Russia.
