Gayle Tomlinson who is a cashier at a supermarket chain in Rossington South Yorkshire in the United Kingdom named Asda last week used her first aid skills to save the life a 54 year old man named Nigel Gronous who collapsed at the checkout line due to a heart attack.
Gayle called for help using the 999 emergency call to get help for an ambulance to help Nigel to survive.
The ambulance team members told Gayle to use a defibrillator and use CPR to revive Nigel who was not moving at all.
Gayle whose late mother was a nurse admitted that she has no real life first aid skills to use. However she and her late mother did learn first aid skills watching television shows.
What amazes me about Gayle is that she used the method of CPR for a period of 23 minutes to the beat of the song by the Bee Gees called "Staying Alive" until Nigel did breathe again.
Nigel was then taken to the Doncaster Royal Infirmary to be treated for his heart attack problem before he was released from the hospital.
Nigel is very grateful that Gayle saved his life at the supermarket. I am sure that Barry Gibb who is the only member of the singing group that is alive is telling his critics "Our music saved a life of a stranger. Thanks for the lampooning us since we got the last laugh."

23 minutes is a long time to do CPR. I'm glad that Gayle was available.

Gayle had to have some extreme patience working on getting Nigel to revive from his heart attack.

I am sure that Barry Gibb is thinking that. Sorry for the error since I remember many disco haters lampooning the Bee Gees but never the rappers.
