For my Christmas break I caught something from my student, now here it is Spring Break and I am sick again.
No, it is not Covid, just a dumb old cold.
I have heard it said that we are more prone to get sick when it is time to relax and wind down. Something about our immune system lets down and lets us get sick.
I do not like this. Not one bit.
No wonder I am taking naps.

Yes I believe it. Sometimes I will feel really great and breath a sigh of relief thinking I am getting better from here on. Then next thing I know I wake up hardly able to move or breath again. Feels like 2 steps forward, then one step back. So hard to think I will ever get better at that slow pace.

Ugh. Sorry you are going through the cold thing again. I am usually "ok" during the holidays because I keep my guard up and stay crazy busy, but come January when things slow down, that's when I usually get sick. Hope you feel better soon!!

@GardenGerty Maybe we catch things during the holidays while we're around people and going here and there . . . but they don't play peekaboo until January.

Yes, it is my one kiddo that catches things probably from his family, and I work so closely
with him that if he gets sick, I also get sick.
