Happy St. Patrick's Day. Today is a good day for calories - high that is. I've already met my quota and I haven't had dinner yet. It's still in the crockpot. I returned from canasta expecting to have dinner and found I hadn't turned it on. Oops. Corned beef will be late today.
However, the last two days were good, so let me share with you how those two days went.

Not today though. We'll call today a major cheat day. I was all right until someone came with a chocolate cake with mint icing for canasta today. I also bought my own treat for today when I went shopping this morning - chocolate chunk scones. It's been ages since I had a scone. They're delicious. So the calories for today are higher than usual. However, I got it with the sodium that I've been worried about lately.

That's a good walk. It won't be long before I'll be hitting the trail. I can't wait to walk outside.
