Cereal & Strawberries for Dinner

Have been outside most of the day. Such a nice day. The weather has been good with sunshine all day. Both cats sat in the screen room with me as well. Good to see Brendel out. Picked up some fresh strawberries at the store the other day. They are good sliced in many dishes. Decided on a bowl of cereal for dinner. Got warm out today and no appetite. I had Strawberry Mini-Wheats with fresh sliced strawberries. Snapped the photo right before I ate. Photo is mine.

I like fruit with cereal too. I am looking forward to getting strawberries again. The last ones I bought were tough but it was in Jan., not exactly their season to be producing.

Hopefully you enjoyed the dinner. Ours was kind of a Tea-Dinner combination with snacks. Today we have the festival of Holi so a day off. Enjoy your weekend.

I have never ever tried sweet strawberries my entire life. The ones I've tried from here are so sour. The ones I tried from Bangkok aren't sweet either.

@CarolDM if that was the only fruit in my country, I would endure it. But we have more delicious and nutritious fruits here. Strawberries aren't really a native from this country but they could grow here. But when they do, they're just so sour and sometimes bitter. I would rather have ripe mangoes or papayas.

I am so glad to hear that Brendel enjoyed staying out. I hope to see fresh strawberries in the store soon. Unfortunately I cannot eat those mini-wheats, shame because your dish looks delicious.

Oh. Gosh no. Bring on the grilled cheese. This is just a no for me. For one, it is a cereal I cannot stand, and I don't like fruit. And this would never qualify as dinner to me. Not busting your chops or dissing your dinner. Just saying not in my house.
