Got a New Mini Fridge!

I've always had a mini fridge in my room. Keep in mind I've always lived with several roommates so there isn't enough space in the kitchen fridge for a lot of stuff. My old one I've had for around ten years and it had a teeeeeny tiny little ice box that substituted for a freezer.
This new one? Yeah, it has a whole full freezer, just obviously smaller than a real fridge, but large enough to actually put real food in! I loaded up at the grocery store with microwave things and waffles and ice cream. My last freezer wouldn't ever get cold enough to work with ice cream.
Yep. This is what I'm spending my adult money on! Ice cream sandwiches. Don't judge me!

@akruser13 I could not imagine having two in the kitchen. But we have one full size one in the kitchen, one full size one in the garage, and a mini in a spare room. We also have a chest freezer in the basement.

@porwest I would like a chest freezer. Some of the people I've petsat for have those and it's like opening a treasure chest of goodies lol.

Hahaha! We used to have two in our kitchen but one was old and they were taking up too much space and electricity.

Surely there's something better than ice cream sandwiches? I'd be stocking up on ice cream cones with chocolate and nuts on top! 
(I can't keep ice cream of any kind here. Pretty eats it all before I'm ready to have some.

Okay but I also a box of those strawberry shortcake bar things and a small tub of cherry garcia. I got three different kinds of ice cream! Did I need that? Not at all.
But yes I did.

@akruser13 We bought Klondike bars at the store this afternoon. Mine are plain and hers are crunchy.... I hope I get one before they're all gone.

@DaddyEvil See, this is why I love that single life lmao. I've got roommates if I want to socialize. Everything else? My stuff and my space. If anyone wants one of my ice cream bars they have to beg me for it lol.

Lucky for me I'm usually too tired to snack at midnight. But it doesn't stop me from grabbing an ice cream bar in the middle of the afternoon. Or two. They're mini ice cream sandwiches, okay?!

Roomie has a fridge in his room, but it is bigger than a mini fridge. Not full size but big enough for one person. I have what you might say is a mini freezer. It was a good buy and good for things that don't fit well in the regular freezer. Mine is oddly configured due to the tap on the front and alot of things don't fit comfortably in there.

Yeah, this new one is about a foot taller than my old one, so essentially that extra foot is the freezer part. The main fridge in the shared kitchen is always full because of my roommates and their kid. They actually gave me this new mini since they're taking up all the space lol. My roomie's cousin bought it brand new, barely used it and then wound up moving and didn't want to take it with him. So I inherited it.

Lmao, the only thing my last freezer would hold was about four microwave burritos lol. It was so tiny! I basically mostly avoided the freezer section of the grocery store before.
