Messed up Instacart order

I placed another one today because I found a few recipes I wanted to try and I'm reckless with my money. @porwest would be horrified but then he always is. I ordered like $70 worth of stuff not including tip. I received a text informing me that it was delivered at my door. Okay. I brought everything in and started unpacking the bags. It was immediately clear to me that it was the wrong order. I don't eat cheap generic white bread. I will NEVER drink green juice or eat pork roll. 12 bottles of lemon lime seltzer? Yeah no. I reported it to Instacart and the customer service said he would have someone reshop the order and I could keep, donate, or discard the stuff. Legit none of it was anything I would use except for the paper towels and toilet paper. I'm keeping those. I offered the rest of everything up on the local town FB group. It was all claimed within 5 minutes. Not really sure who needs 12 bottles of lemon lime soda but whatevs. Someone even claimed the green juice. Fine with me. Pick up only.

@lovebuglena The shoppers often do 2 or more orders at once so they can get them mixed up at delivery.

Yes. Your money handling does indeed horrify me. But nothing wrong with you doing you of course. So long as you are not one to complain about not making enough money—that's when I give it to 'em. lol

Fortunatly my online delivery has no made any major blunders. Only one it charged an ice cream that was not delivered but came within the day after I phond.

Man, the worst I've had it with Instacart was having my order shipped to a different location. But that was partially my fault as I didn't give the proper address. But the driver didn't bother to contact me for details as others have done. I didn't report anything, and I should have. The second is drivers will forget an item on my order at my door with the rest of my groceries that they got.
