Good morning, mylotters.
I had to get up early as I had bought online a set of three wonderful skillets and they were going to bring it today.
Except for the groceries online, everything I have bought means that I have to be up early the day they will send it and sometimes they come in the evening
Now, fortunatly they came early enough, but I was up when it was still chilly.
The skillets are those that serve for every kind of range and with several kinds of materials for a good difusion of heat. I had bought one of them for my morning eggs and Dixie wanted one so I bought 3 sizes and will leave the bigger ones for me and give Dixie the smaller one for their breakfast.
The brand is Infinity Chefs and they say that the skillets even have titanium among their alloys. As I have only known about titanium to fix people, I suppose it is wonderful. I know for sure that they use little or no oil and that they don´t stick. That is enough for me.
Today I will make for lunch a rice omelette in the middle one, with a small amount of rice, chives and diced cheese that melts.
But now I´m mylotting with my second cup of coffee. And later, I´ll mash an avocado and will have some bread with it.
I´ll go now to my notifications. See you

@marguicha And that is what matters you don’t want to have to go out and buy more again.

We did not have such ware in our country when I got married. I had aluminum ware. Then I began to change to teflon but they don´t last forever specially if you have a maid

@LadyDuck No. Teflon lasts less with a maid. They like to scrub instead of having the detergent do the job. I first had very bad thin stainless stell, but I could only use the pots for soups. Just a few years ago I got an awesome heavy German stainless steel big pot. But I needed small ones. So I bought this year a Swiss cookware set and gave part of it to my eldest daughter. Now it is the time of the skillets.

@marguicha Mom had aluminium ware, I decided to buy those German skillets, they were expensive, but I am glad of my choice. Teflon does not last very long.

When I started to check on my old kitchen ware to give to Tania, I discovered that some of them were a gift when I got married (60 years ago)

@marguicha wow those lasted a long time. I have a few items in my kitchen that I inherited from my mom and grandmother.

They are the best I´ve had. At some moment I was going to fix my 50 year old pots and pans but suddenly II decided that I deserved newer and better cooking ware. I gave away paer of my old pots to my eldest daughter who now has a second house in the south. They are expensive, but not so much if you take care of them.
