Craving for Filipino Food

I was about to take a nap when I thought of listening a relaxing music while trying to sleep. I can’t get rid of the music that stock up in my head like the one in my last discussion. I am listening to some of the relaxing music on you tube. I feel in peace but instead of napping, I am revitalise. Now I am here on Mylot instead of napping. I am still listening to the music while mylotting.
I don’t have to cook for dinner in an hour as I still have leftover of Menudo, a traditional Filipino food that I was craving. When I crave for Filipino food, I make plenty and freeze some of the leftover for the next craving.
Menudo is a Filipino pork or beef stew with potatoes, carrots, bell peppers, garlic, tomato sauce, onion and spring onions. Sometimes with liver but I don’t like intestines that is why I don’t add them on my food.
Do you sometimes crave for some food that you love?
Thank you for reading. I hope you have a nice weather like I have. Sunny and at 18C.

@LadyDuck I have eaten liver when I was sickly and my mother cooked it. She said liver is good for my lungs. I don’t know if it is true. I once bought liver when I was new in Germany as I was craving for it and I missed my mother’s cooking. It was slippery cutting it and when it was cooked the way my mother did it, I didn’t eat it as I didn’t like it at all. So, since then, no liver for me.

Really? I think Menudo was a Spanish food which was passed to the Filipinos when the Philippines was conquered by the Spaniards centuries ago. Have you tried it? Thank you @RebeccasFarm.

@RebeccasFarm We call it estofado in my country and it is the same. A Spanish dish, I suppose.

I have some food cravings. And your dish is very similar to our estofado, that we cook in winter. I love liver, but not there.

Your Filipino dish does sound similar to how I make my beef stew. I love when I have enough for leftovers and just have to heat and re-eat.
Today it's sunny and it's getting warmer. Spring is coming

I sometimes make this with beef. Yes, it is good to have leftover and just heat it when in need,
It was sunny too today at 18C here. Now, it is dark and almost 8 in the evening. Thank you @Marilynda1225
