I´ll be watching the Oscars this evening.

I am not usually very interested in who wins the Oscars and who doesn´t. I usually have my own idea about which is the best movi, actor, actress and the like.
But this year I have watched a lot of movies at home due to the pandemia and I have some favorite movies that could be finalists.
I wrote a post about "The power of the dog" and just found out that it had been nominated for the Oscar. So I´m curious. I liked the film.
Are you going to watch it? What is your reason to watch the ceremony?

Why did the CNN here say it would be on Saturday? Are you sure? I am not going to listen to all the crap the reporters say BEFORE the actual ceremony.

They will be on tomorrow at least here. I will watch don't really care who wins but it helps me make a note of what films to see

They will be on tomorrow here. I usually watch them each year but haven't the last few years. I don't see many of the new movies that come out until they drop on Netflix.

Yes. I'm going to watch everything from the Red Carpet show to the end of the awards show. I want to see if the remake of West Side Story wins any of the 7 Academy Awards that they are nominated for. I prefer the 1961 original movie.
