Our April Cruise

My husband and I are SO excited. In April we are going on a transatlantic cruise on the Princess cruise ship the Enchanted Princess. We LOVE the days at sea and transatlantic cruises seem to have the most of those.
We are leaving from Fort Lauderdale and will have 6 days at sea before we stop at the Azores, islands off of Portugal. Then we have 2 more days at sea and stop in Brest, France, the next day in Cherbourg, France another day at sea and we will stip in Skagen, Denmark, and then the following day the cruise ends in Copenhagen, Denmark and we will fly home.
Have you ever been on a transatlantic cruise or would you like to go on one?

That sounds awesome! O know you'll have a wonderful time on your cruise. I've never been on a transatlantic cruise but it's on my bucket list

@Marilynda1225 They are wonderful and very relaxing. But you have to like being at sea and keeping yourself busy.

Wow I haven't experience that. I hope someday. I will be very excited too. Hope it would be safe and a relaxing trip

@Kouponkaren I am fine on rainy and cold days, but I hate when this happens when I travel. I love to visit the cities when I travel and I love to walk in the streets.

@LadyDuck Thanks, but even if the weather is bad, there is plenty to do inside. I love to read, watch movies and work on art projects so I am fine on rainy and cold days.

@Kouponkaren One of my best friends has just tested positive. She has been vaccinated but it seems it's affecting her quite badly. We've only just found out.

@Kandase11 Well, you might be able to do that, except for sleeping. You might do well in a suite with a balcony and plenty of room inside...2 bedrooms, a bathroom, dining area and living room. They are expensive though.

@wolfgirl569 Thanks. We don't care too much about the weather. Supposedly the temperature is supposed to be in the fifties and low sixties in Europe when we are there. My favorite kind of weather is 50 - 75 so I will be very happy!

@Ronrybs Yes, a lot of people like the river cruises so they can get off the ship every day and walk around. My goal is to hot 10,000 steps a day whether I am on the ship or off. I usually actually do better on the days at sea. My husband can't walk far due to bad knees, so our excursions don't involve a lot of walking.
