Very bad day

This day I went to the nearest mall to buy bread , fruits and vegetables. I commute for I will spend some pesos only rather than drive ,gasoline is above the head. I thought I was over the moon for after 3 years I hadn't commuted. Actually, I was afraid but again, our city is zero covid for straight 4 days. There were only very few passengers. It was an exciting moment. The fare was only 12 pesos hehehehe . The worst thing is yet to come.
After I bought those I needed, I left the mall. Then I rode on a jeepney again. The time was 10 in the morning, then while manipulating my cellular phone, 2 passengers appeared and sat in front of me. It seems they look at me. I thought they disliked my attire. I wear shorts , sandals and tight long sleeve emphasizing my slim figure after doing non-stop jog-walk 
.
Due to curiosity, I tried to look at these humans who keep on looking at me. I also sensed that one whispered her companion. I raised up my head and oh, my goodness, who did I see? My ex-boyfriend and his wife . 
They looked at the jeepney floor when I looked at them in surprise. I cannot believe to see face to face again the man who cheated me. They have just arrived from Melbourne .Am I going to say hi? hello? No, thankful of the coincidence, my cousin saw me and called me. I was like save by the bell.
Yes, I love the guy before, but now no more. I remember him but I cannot remember the feelings anymore. 
We were not meant to be.
Have you also by a circumstance experienced the same as mine?

Oh boy, what an awkward incident you have their meeting your ex and not knowing what to do in that situation. I guess I would feel the same if that happened to me too. 
But good thing that you got an excuse to get away from that awkward situation when your cousin called you. But I think that moving away from that situation is the best thing to do.

@sharonelton, hehehe, no, I wasn't. I just cannot believe to see the guy. He was not the man of my dream, but I like him because he was kind and has some qualities of the man I was looking for, but I was wrong. It was just my past that never will never come back and if it comes back, never will I like him again.

@louievill, I was just shocked. It's never on my mind to meet them that way. I better didn't commute. I was also wondering why they commute. Perhaps they want to refresh their minds, or it was destiny to meet my ex again. One thing I'm so sure of is, the feeling for him is gone.

I guess that there are no coincidences, in life, and everything happens for a reason.
We have to face life, and learn from these types of experiences, that bring up past hurts, and try to move ahead, going past the hurts, so that we are stronger still, the next time that we meet up with such a painful past hurt again.

@cacay1 Hard as a rock, as in stronger, but not with all the love hidden/frozen behind rocks too.
It might become a habit not to love, if you block/lock part of love away, even if just in the one instance.

@Kandae11, his parents passed away 4 years ago but we were not able to meet to force him to pay me. He was in a bad situation before financially and can't dare to see him suffer, so I lent him that amount hoping he is true to his words. I was such a fool to love someone like him.

I have had my fair share of awkward experiences as well, somewhat similar to yours, only that my ex and the new girlfriend aren't married yet. After breaking up due to cheating, guy had so much nerve to even act like nothing happened!
