Apparently you can wipe your butt with $100 bills now. Was browsing Amazon for toilet paper and came upon this listing: Treasure Gurus $100 One Hundred Dollar Bill Roll of Toilet Paper. It only costs $10.43, which doesn't include tax and shipping. On the product's page it says it makes a great house warming gift and a great gag gift. What the heck is a gag gift?

It's not real $100 bills obviously. But still. I wouldn't wanna wipe myself with toilet paper that had any kind of image on it or was anything but white.

A gag gift is a joke gift. I've seen this toilet paper before.

Thank you. I've always thought that the word "gag" meant to almost throw up so the term gag gift confused me.

@lovebuglena It can also mean to put a piece of cloth over someone's mouth to prevent them from speaking.

First time for me. I'd not buy it though, not even as a gift.

A gag gift is like a gift that is meant as a joke. Is the toilet paper made out of shredded $100 bills, or is it just toilet paper printed to look like money?

I think printed to look like endless $100 bills. Well, technically not endless as the roll ends at some point.

Thanks for the explanation. As far as I know gag means to almost throw up.

@lovebuglena That's what I thought, that it was just printed to look like money. But wasn't totally sure, since they actually do take shredded money and use it to make other things.

Gag gifts are just "funny gifts." That aside, I guess it could be a bit of a novelty to have a roll on the bar at a party.
