Grocery shopping / myLot

We went to the mall for the first time in almost a year to do grocery shopping. I am not vaccinated but the establishments here are not strict anymore. So many people inside the mall. Everything is back to normal except that they wear masks. I listed all the things I needed but when I arrived home, I realized I forgot 2 items. Does it happen to you sometimes that you buy things that are not on the list but forget some that are on it?

Ha ha , that happens quite often. I always have my list but l may get distracted looking at an item that is not on my list - then l move to another aisle and forget about the item on my list.

I think that’s pretty normal especially nowadays with the pandemic still on you would like to be as fast as you could be in grocery especially when you see the buyers are getting more.

@Janet357 Looks like we were able to manage not getting to that point during the pandemic. Now I see that we are slowly getting out of the critical phsse of the pandemic as we see lowering of cases.

I check my list before leaving the store to be sure I bought everything I needed. I do not want to go shopping more than once a week.

i still haven't gone to the mall since Covid and only went to our local supermarket recently. I don't think I'll be going anywhere thats crowded anytime soon as Im still leery of the virus. Our masks have been lifted but I just saw on the news that Philadelphia (a major city here) has just mandated mask wearing again indoors. Covid is spiking again. Yes I forget things when I go shopping and even when I order for pickup I seem to always forget somethng

Oh yes, cases in the USA are increasing again. Here, they predicted that it might reach to half a million. No idea if they threaten us or what but our daily case here is 170.

It happens to me too. I make a list and cross them off but somehow I will still get home without something.

I always make sure that I list down what I need to purchase so I won't forget anything. Sometimes though, I forgot things.

Why were you not vaccinated? Are you afraid? I got my vaccination late. I also don't like but the university ordered no vaccine no entry. Me too many times forgot the items I wanted to buy but after I do list I no longer missed a single stuff to buy.

Yeah my mother forgot to get some oreo cookies on Saturday when we went to the grocery store. So we went to a store close to the house on Sunday morning and got some. She made some dirt cups (a snack) for Easter.
