Good day fellow myLotters.
It's your boy, Allen. Been busy the whole day working on a report that I will present at work tomorrow. I could have finished it earlier but other errands kept coming up so I had to delay starting on the report.
Anyway, once I started, it was easy breezy. Will aim for a homerun during tomorrow's presentation.
This is what I have been snacking on when I was doing my report. It is sweet and spicy seedless tamarind and sweet and spicy dried mango strips. Got to taste these a couple of years back. Although, what I originally tasted was spicier than what I have now. Was pleasantly surprised when I saw these at a nearby grocery. Another dried fruit snack that I'm looking for are sweet and spicy dried guava slices. I tried checking online, no suck luck.
So what is everyone else doing and what have you been snacking on lately?

We had a wonderful sunny Sunday, but cold, as cold as winter. We had a walk early in the morning to collect our weekly magazines. I baked a cheese cake a little while ago and now I rest.
I liked dried fruits, my favorite apples, apricots and raisins.

It is good.
I guess it is healthy except that it has tons of sugar.

@allen0187 Yes, as we age those sugars become a health concern already. When we were young, they seem pretty harmless to us as our body easily absorbs them but as we grow older those sugar is hard to be absorbed by our bodies anymore no matter how small or large, we consume it.

Yup, sugar seems to be the main concern of others as well.

I have never seen dried guava snacks at Oahu stores I shop. 2 stores come to mind, Whole foods and Down to Earth. Both are hard to get to by bus, so I rarely go and both have robust dried fruit section. Good luck!

Thanks. The presentation went well.
If it is hard to go to a store, I'll think twice before going as well.

Yes indeed, I need dryer & sunny weather being a bus rider. Today, weather not permitting.

I like dried fruits, but I prefer them in their natural state.

Claudia came to visit me and I had breakfast with her. She brought a red colored water to drink that looked like only anilin. I washed what was left of the delicious grapes I bought at the farmers market and snacked grapes.

I used to snack on dried fruits but they are too high in sugar for me--now unsalted mini pretzels and rice cakes!

I was up watching some science videos last night and playing on myLot. It's time for me to go to sleep. I was munching on dried cherries and dried blueberries last night.
I hope you have a good rest-of-your-day. And good luck with the report you give tomorrow. I hope you'll be able to tell me it was well-received.

Yup.
Way better than the usual dried mangoes available here in Manila.

Thanks the report was good.
You are correct. There's a ton of sugar. I have to 'dust off' most of it.
