Reality Shows - Yes or No?

Reality shows have bombarded the air waves for at least a decade now; and there is no sign of them going away.
Shows such as the Real Housewives of Atlanta, Summer House, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Doubling Down With the Derricos and Little People, Big World have brought us into the homes of celebrities and people with unusual lives. With shows such as Little People, Big World, I think they bring a better understanding of people that may be different than ourselves.
There have also been reality competition shows such as Survivor, Amazing Race, American Idol and the American Song Contest.
I admit it. I'm a reality show junkie. I used to watch a lot more reality shows; but there are so many now that you just can't keep track of them all. I currently watch American Pickers, 90 Day Fiance, Below Deck, Pawn Stars and Storage Wars.
Do you watch reality shows? Which shows do you watch?
Below is a trailer for "Pawn Stars".

@LIndaohio The producers of this mind-numbing pig swill are onto a real money spinner. I think reality tv may be part of a Putin plot to distract us while he tries to take over the world.

I used to watch some singing talent shows, but I didn't watch them in the last two years, because the people who got the ranking have some inside information, so they may not be fair,There are some variety reality shows with scripts, which are not completely true

Hmm... I don't really watch tv much anymore. And if I would, I prefer watching stuff with stories. So... movies and tv shows (series). I don't really care much for those reality shows, nor the variety show types.
The contest ones (singing/talent) are tolerable
, but I only see clips of them when I run across them on youtube. I don't actually follow the shows.

I used to watch a lot of them. Now I don't even watch Survivor anymore. I do like The World of Dance with Jilo on it. I like it but no others I can think of.

I think the closest thing to 'reality shows' I watch are either 'shows that I thought would become PART OF MY reality (Great Performances, Inside the Actors' Studio ... WWE?) or News-Commentary Shows (I don't watch them every night, but my AT&T U-VERSE DVR is set to record MSNBC's nightly lineup! from "All In with Chris H.," "The Rachel Maddow Show," "The Last Word with Lawrence O." and--now that it's got the AWESOMEST host (whose name I forgot ... Stephanie 'Something'?)--"The 11th Hour")

I'm a reality show junkie too. I love Sirvivor, Amazing Race and am totally addicted to 90 day fiancé. I've also been watching Little People Big World from season one.
Right now my daughter and I are binge watching Big Brother Australia which is so much better than our American version

I watch The Voice (all seasons since Kelly Clarkson joined and maybe a few before that), American Idol (every season), American Song Content, So You Think You Can Dance, The Masked Singer, and Master Chef/Master Chef Jr. Don't really watch DWTS though I've watched some performances on YouTube of certain people.

So you enjoy the competition shows. I used to watch Master Chef Junior; but it annoyed me that these kids were SO talented!!!

I watched Pop Idol when Gareth Gates was on but was disappointed when he didn't win. I've gone off music talent shows now and think Britain's Got Talent is boring. I used to watch Big Brother when it was on. These days I prefer dramas and property renovation programmes.

I used to but often they are not reality at all, they have scripts and themes khardashians cant really be classed as reality, the only way is .......(fill in the blank) Real house wives of ....(fill in the blank) all have scripts and fake arguements. It was interesting when they picked people doing certain jobs but they ran out of those

Some are still not scripted; and those are the ones I tend to watch. You can usually tell the difference. I still haven't figured out why the Kardashians are so popular.

We watch a few, Dale likes the fishing and hunting shows and all the Alaska people. I guess Survivor and America's Got Talent are about the only reality shows I like.
