I decided to forget about last year´s earnings. This year I have earned less because I have done other things offline.
I stayed at home alone all last year until the vaccines came to life. Then, as I learned more, I decided that the best thing to keep away from harm were the masks and good ones. Some people are selling masks that don´t help at all.
And at home I would come to mylot and talk all day with you.
Now in my country the authorities accepted people with no masks in the streets. And although most of us have been vaccinated, it was never mandatory so, for me, the mask will be on.
Do you have personal measures against the covid, friends?

My defenses never went back to normal after cancer and chemo. So I take care of myself.

@marguicha It is understandable. But really, if cancer wasn't going to be the coffin nail, Covid had nothing on it. But I am NOT saying throw caution to the wind. I am just saying Covid is nothing compared and I am very glad to hear you were able to beat the reaper on what is probably the most devastating and deadly thing on the planet.

@marguicha We also bought the KN95, because if we cross the border to buy something in Italy, there those masks are mandatory inside the stores.

I´m still following all the measures the we had before the vaccines. Mask, social distances and more hand washing are mandatory for me.

@marguicha That is the way with us too. In a sense, although things change continually, we have not changed anything about covid protocols . . . we still remain extremely cautious!

I'm only wearing masks in doctors offices and I went in to one of our government buildings recently and they required a mask.

I wear a mask every time I go out. My defenses never went back to normal after the chemo.

Pretty and I have been vaccinated and boosted but we still wear the masks if we're out in public.

@marguicha It's the best thing we can do, in my opinion.

Regardless of what the mandates are in our area, Jay and I are still following all the safety precautions. We are also considering others, who have a weakened immune system.

I basically consider my immune system. At my age and after chemotherapy, I do not want to be near people who don´t mind others.

Common sense cannot be mandated.
Caring about and being sensitive to the needs of others, cannot be mandated.
I don't go out much, because I work from home, but when I do go out, I try to respect that others may still be nervous or may have an underlying condition that I wouldn't know about.
Is it really such a big thing to wear a mask? No.
Is it really so hard to wash my hands regularly or observe social distancing as appropriate?
No.
I'd rather err on the side of caution.
Besides, there are benefits to me as well - I haven't had a cold or a flu for two years!

I agree with you. I don´t need to remember to wash my hands because all my life I have been on the "too much" side of washing them. I am wearing a good mask to go out and I keep social distance with everyone except for the few people I see every day that are as clean as I am.

For large, crowded stores and doctors' offices, we still wear the masks and stay away from other people.
