First, I’d like to wish everyone a happy holy season. It’s Holy Week for Christians, the start of Passover for Jews, and Ramadan for Muslims. May the season renew your spirit and your love of God.
Now, let’s get cracking with some songs that have a specific age in the title. Lots of songs feature 16, an age I passed long ago. So what better way to start than with one of them?
#10: You’re Sixteen - Ringo Starr
Yes, I know he wasn’t the original artist on this song. That distinction goes to Johnny Burnette. But hey, we’re celebrating my birthday, so I’ll take Ringo for my present! 
A great classic from the early 60s got renewed thanks to Mr. Starkey, and a fine job he did! He’s helped on this song by the bass player in that band Ringo used to be in, the Bee Tells or something like that 
(wonder what happened to them?). That’s Sir Paul actually vocally impersonating a kazoo.
With the original or with Ringo’s terrific cover, you can’t go wrong either way!

Yeah, he’s pretty good. I understand he gets fame from his famous brother-in-law, but I think he could have made it on his own.
