I Knew Just The Solution

I got up super early this morning and made a huge southern style breakfast. Then loaded the fam up and took them to Busch Gardens in Tampa. We got in about 5 hours of fun before the typical afternoon Florida thunderstorms rolled in. Had a nice 2 hour ride back to Gainesville in the pouring down rain. I made everyone some hot Earl Gray tea when we got home, which hit the spot on a dreary, rainy day. Now I'm barbecuing some ribs and making corn and mashed potatoes for everyone. It's been a nice, relaxing day. I hope it's been the same for you.

It was a beautiful day here, and just slightly chilly early.

It is a little chillier than I would like, but it is morning. My appetite is off, due to all the extra Easter goodies I have consumed. Plain black coffee for me.

The rain hasn’t made it here yet, but unfortunately the warmth never made it here today, either. It never got above 51 here, which means that your solution was the absolutely CORRECT ONE!!!

I had a nice Easter, after a light meal with my husband, we sit outside together to read a book. No noises around us except the birds chirping. Gevi joined us and soon after Bubi, the cat of our neighbors, wanted to be with us too.

Our little great nephew, Colt, enjoyed hunting for Easter eggs after dinner this afternoon. Sweet. I can tell that it is becoming cooler with rain moving in a little later this evening. Hope you find a good movie to enjoy. Have a blessed night.

Yum. Yeah it was chilly Sunday morning, but it warmed up in the afternoon. I went over to my great-aunt's house.

We had a very quiet day too. Nothing going on here.

I can't tell you the last time I had a hot chocolate. Of course right now I could not bear to drink one, although when I did make a hot chocolate in the past I always made mine with coffee instead of water. Nice that summer is here by now, but man it sure is hot. lol Oh well. I will take this over winter any day.

I like this mug, and of course a with some hot chocolate and marshmallows in it makes it all the better. I look forward to hearing about what eggs will hatch from some newly made birds nests in your yard. I don't think that it will be very long.

A chilly wind came here also.

When I was in Girl Scouts, I played Eeyore in the play. After that, the Scouts called me Eeyore all year!

Wow, that's cool. I remember my childhood. Every Easter, I also come with colored chicken eggs. It was great at that time. Oh yes friend, Happy Easter.
