I've just been to the little Tesco again.

I have just been shopping at the little Tesco again.
As I was walking down the street I saw that the neighbour next door but one are selling up. They've got a FOR SALE sign up outside their house. (Dixon's).
I didn't really need to get much today. I got the TV magazine, some kit kats, strawberries, tinned peaches in juice, egg custards, 2 packets of soft sweets, 2 bars of chocolate, one for Mum one for my step-dad, and 2 bottles of milk for my Mum. A box of Alpen cereal, a carton of soy milk and some small soy yoghurts for me.
When I got to the till I also asked for 12 First Class stamps for my Mum.
It came to £30 something with discount card added.
It is quite a dull day today but not raining.

Yes, it's good to have discounts on things. If you needed the rain, I'm glad you got the rain!

You know what I wonder if rich people read this stuff. Probably not but would behoove them to do so since we make them rich. Neat how boring lives make world go round and make them rich. Not a knock my life story too.

@RebeccasFarm Yep. It's good to get some fresh air. I'm going to get plenty of it on Friday because I've got to go and get my repeat prescription again!

@sharonelton that's nice !! I see that some Asian countries have a big variety of KitKats. We only have the dark chocolate ones.

I hope your day turns out better than expected.
In the little Tesco we have milk chocolate kitkats and dark chocolate ones, but Mum likes the milk chocolate ones.

I thought I was going to have a busy day but as it turned out, I spend more time watching Netflix than actually working. Tomorrow we go to the wet market to buy some vegetables and fruits. It's cheaper to buy there and they're freshly harvested compared to the big supermarkets that we frequently go to.

Shame you didn't get much done. My Mum said she was going to do some ironing a few nights ago and then last night. She still hasn't done it. Your wet market sounds really good.

It depends. Sometimes they can sell quickly, other times not so much. It took us about 3 years to sell our house when we were moving but that was in 1996.

excellent things bought from Tesco. I did my LLM in International Economic Law from Warwick University UK. In 2001 I used to buy things from Tesco. There was one shopping outlet created inside the university. That was of a lot of help for me at that time.

I am glad you found some great buys at the store.
I am reading and responding to this discussion on 27 April 2022. So far, my day has been fair to middling. First, I humored my gentleman friend through another round of his idiocy. Then, I put away some of my winter clothes before spending some time on myLot. Once noon hits in about nineteen minutes, I plan to try to get some laundry done. Try is the operative word. If no other tenant is using the machines, I should be good to go.
I hope today was not as dull for you as you felt yesterday was.
