Everything is Coming Up Roses!

Back at the beginning of April @RasmaSandra asked for flowers. I can’t stop at just that, so after the countdown of songs with “flower” in the title I’ve decided to give you some roses in honor of the Kentucky Derby.
For you people who “love” country music (sarcasm), I’ll also be continuing the birthday celebration starting May 1 with a look at songs that are sixty years old this year. 
Most of these rose songs are country flowers. So no thorn having its rose or whatever that song was.
But at least I’ll tease you with a little Rocky Horror rose!

I can understand that. No horses in Rocky Horror (unless you count motorcycles).

The 60-year-old songs will be a mix. It’s the rose songs that’ll mostly be country (nine out of ten).

I think it’s by Poison, but all those hair bands sounded alike to me. Heck, their logos even looked similar.

How about that Derby upset Saturday!!! Everything was coming up roses for Rich Strike Perfect name for whoever had a winning ticket on that horse, lol.

Pretty amazing, isn't it. Better than winning the lottery, probably, for whoever got the right ticket! A $1 trifecta ticket was worth nearly $15,000! The superfecta was over $320,000!!!!
