Today's Inspirational Quote

It's actually not a daily inspirational quote, but more like a weekly quote I receive in my inbox. Here is what I received today: Today, God wants you to know that you weren't created to be a failure. Sure some things may not have worked out and there have been some disappointments. But all these things helped guide you in a direction that was meant for you. Your life has purpose and significance. Try to be patient if it isn't all crystal clear just yet. For now, just know that you weren't created to fail. I wonder how long it's going to take for me to see this.

I find it comforting knowing the our Creator has a purpose and that although it has been detoured temporarily, it will not fail. “So my word that goes forth from my mouth will prove to be. It will not return to me without results.” (Isa. 55:11) Since his purpose cannot fail, it follows that if we align ourselves with that purpose, we cannot fail. “Fear the true God and keep his commandments. For this is the whole obligation of man.”—Ecclesiastes12:13. “What is Jehovah asking back from you?..... exercise justice, love kindness, and walk modestly with God.—Micah 6:8

No body was created to fail, but they all eventually do...

It uplifted me when I read this. I actually feel like a failure but maybe all things will work together for my good

I've heard it put more succinctly as 'God doesn't make junk'.

Yes but when you get to my (our) age, and you still don't know, time is running out it feels.

very good quote, I believe we should be able to open our horizons in order to understand the world more wisely, especially awareness about the problem of failure in life

If failure does exist though, where has this idea of us having failed come from? If God has a plan for our life, that makes that life, not a failure, in the end, as long as we are listening to him, beside us, and following his guidance, we can't fail, even now, and any apparent failure, is just that, apparent, but not really so. The only ones who fail, are the ones who have left God behind.

I am a church going person. I read on Wednesday evenings at mass and again at weekend liturgy. I pray every day. I can't HEAR HIM. Messages like this I suppose are supposed to be messages from HIM, but it's a Facebook app. But I know, these messages come up when you need them, when you need to hear them. I still struggle.

@patgalca Yes, it can be hard to actually hear God, but I see it working more like this. The outer ears can never hear God directly so, but the inner ears do not often hear directly either, in effect. They more feel the truth of words that you hear, and these heard words can move you, as you feel the inner feeling of love moving you then too, and this message, you just know is from God, no matter which path it has taken to reach you, through nature, or through somebody else, or through a sudden jelling connection in your mind, when you hear, or see, a message, and then connect it to the problem that you have been having.
