Do you like, Mexican food? This is from Los Reyes restaurant in San Francisco, located very close to the Daly City border and very close to the Cow Palace . The burrito is wrapped in aluminum foil so it is hard to see, but it is an al pastor burrito. That would be marinated, seasoned pork. The burrito also had rice, beans and salsa. Tvis a regular burrito, so it did not have cheese, guacamole or sour cream. This is a small, family owned restaurant that has Mexican and Salvadoran food. They had an El Salvador picture on the wall. Pretty good burrito. The salsa was a red kind, medium spice.

Yes, typically jalapeƱo and serrano peppers are used, though not everything is spicy.

@Sojourn Yes it can be spicy. Young and also add extra hot sauce.

@Aquitaine24 It would suit me if it is spicy as I like things spicy.

I thought pastor meant pastoral or country style.

@Aquitaine24 No pastor means shepherd, it is more or less the same in my native language (Italian), pastore = shepherd.

@Aquitaine24 At least once a week, we make burritos, taco bowls, things like that, that are easy to make.

What are your favorites? I like mole, al pastor and carnitas a lot. Chimichangas are very good as well.

I used to eat Mexican food until that's all my first wife would eat while she was pregnant with Pretty... I was burned out after the third month and really would rather not see Mexican food anymore. Pretty is always asking me to take her to one of the small authentic Mexican restaurants here in our city. (Once in a while I'll wait in the car while she goes in and buys something for herself to eat at home. *shrug* I only pretend to be a total monster to my daughter.

I guess some people feel the same about American food.

Mexican food is pretty tasty and relatively inexpensive too. Sounds like you found a good restaurant

Love Mexican food! I go to Taco Bell, I like their value menu, now 1.69 instead of $1, bean and rice burrito. I buy it ready made, cans too big and spanish rice or Mexican rice too much for me. Good looks yummy!

You should, since the wrap wasn't even off yet.
