Happy Mother's Day in Heaven

It is our first time not being with our lovely mother on this Mother's Day physically. Some of you knew that she passed away early this year. I am hoping she can still be remembered by people close to her heart. For us, we can never forget her. Every day is always a day of loving and remembering her. Today I sent flowers to my mom. It won't be a big celebration due to the pandemic. I know the pandemic is not serious, especially it is the Omicron. But the rules are crazy. I don't want to get any troubles and therefore we won't go out to celebrate it. I'm glad that my mom is still happy to receive the flowers.

I heard that most of you are not allowed to go out that much there and in other places in China. I am sure she was so happy to have these flowers. Hoping that your husband or son will give you something special for this special day.

@Shavkat In Guangzhou it is still OK for us to go out and the restaurants are also open. But who knows? Once there is a case found, it will be different. All of us had the Covid-19 test on May 5th and we also had another test on May 7th. It is quite unnecessary and stupid.

I must say that she is my mother and best friend at the same time. I am missing her since she left us. To compensate for it, I still talk to her in the air as if she is still around.

I agree. I am sure my mom does not need to worry about this pandemic now. I had felt the worrisome in certain situations about it before even though she does not show it physically.
