Loaded Baked Potato Dinner

Not sure how you define a loaded baked potato. I think it is different for everyone. I make mine with butter, cheese, sour cream and sometimes bacon on top. Maybe that qualifies as loaded. Either way, it was dinner. And very much enjoyed. Too warm today for the stove. So these were made in the microwave. Tastes just as good in my opinion. Temperatures are already in the high 80's, and it is only May. Not my favorite weather. But it is what it is. The plants and flowers seem to enjoy the heat it in the garden. I have the A/C to enjoy inside. A win-win situation it seems. Photo is mine. Enjoy your dinner and evening everyone.

I've been on a baked potato kick lately and I think anything topped on it is loaded. Last night I had butter, cheese and some chopped up broccoli along with chicken. Certainly didn't need the chicken I would have enjoyed all the toppings you had on your baked potato.

We were close to 80, I think we topped out at 78. I was at the church mowing and cleaning. I need to get ours done because rain is supposed to be in our area from Friday through Monday. Can't go wrong with a loaded baked potato. I stopped by our local mom and pop diner and got a salad and cheeseburger for us for supper.

My daughter and I made a baked potato bar for a big family gathering one time. We had all kinds of toppings a person could put on their baked potato--butter, sour cream, plain yogurt for the sour cream haters, cooked bacon bits, cubed up ham, taco meat, shredded cheese, chopped onions, salsa, you name it and we thought of it and everyone just loved this dinner. Served it with fresh fruit salad, plus everyone brought a ton of desserts. It was fun.

For me, a loaded baked potato is usually just cheddar cheese and sour cream. But bits of bacon make them a treat too!

I didn't really feel like cooking, so I had something simple and traditional. Bangers, mash and beans. I add mustard powder to mash, just for a little kick!

YUM! It was 80 yesterday. Kept the ceiling fans running. Too soon to turn on the AC here. Going to be a pleasant 71 today. Enjoy!

Same thing, this is the weather which I not enjoy at all. But yes not in our hand. The baked potato looks really delicious. Here I haven't seen any dish like that, but it looks really good.
