Do you use your phone as a scanner?

I always scanned the work my children have done with my phone as it's easy to keep track and organize their work. I have always been using Evernote Scannable app as it allows me to save my scanned images or documents into Evernote directly. I was looking for another scanner app and just found that I can actually just use Apple Notes to scan. Since it doesn't require me to install any app, so I just gave it a try. I haven't really get used to it yet, but it does the work quite well. I wanted to try out Microsoft Lens and Adobe Scan, but my old iPhone doesn't meet the requirements for installing those apps.
