You Will Have To Take My Word

Busy Bird Lady here. I found the Robin nest. The Dude and I have been glued to the windows trying to find the nest for days now. I knew it was in the holly bush. But the holly's are so thick, I cannot see from inside. And I don't want to get attacked by going out and looking. I considered getting a helmet and go on a search inside the bush, but decided to leave them alone. I also will not jeopardize the little ones being abandoned. The screen is off the window now, and with the window all the way down to the floor, I was able to see the babies this morning. So cute! I can watch the mom and dad robins feeding them. So far I see three babies. I will keep trying to get photos. So excited! Meanwhile, the bluebirds are protecting and incubating the eggs in the backyard house. All is well with them for now. Photo is mine. The holly bushes with the robin nest and maybe others as well. More updates later.

Good to see you. This is so very exciting to watch. Every year there are more as the yard matures.

I got a good laugh seeing the size of that bush. Good thing there's a window there or yours be out of luck.

@CarolDM it's cool that they built their nest close enough to your window.

@MarshaMusselman There are other nests too but I can't see them, the bushes are too thick.

Viewing the robin's nest and babies through the screen, how wonderful! And those bluebird parents are doing their job, I'm glad to hear this:) Enjoy!
