Tonight we had a cold plate. We ate some things that were left from earlier this week. I had made a chicken salad with canned white meat, diced apples, a few onions, some sliced purple grapes all held together with Miracle Whip. We finished that, as well as some home made potato salad. We had some nice round crackers made with whole wheat.Store brand version of whole wheat Ritz crackers. I had a glass of grapefruit juice, hubby had his nutritional drink. The dishes are washed and I am ready for bed.

Were the grapes sliced lengthwise or crosswise, and why would you need to slice grapes anyway, they're just a bite all by themselves. ?

I slice them however I can get hold of them. I do it so a little bit of the juice escapes and blends into the salad.

I made chicken wings and I prepared a very good hot sauce to serve with them. For lunch, a while ago, we had a Greek salad (feta cheese, bell peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, Greek kalamata olives, red onion olive oil).

I only know mung beans because people here like to sprout them for sprouts to add greens to their diet. I like them sprouted.
