That´s the only word I can say about me after going to the beauty shop.
True I am not a teen anymore. I reached the "ol´ witch" state some years ago.
I have accepted wrinckles and scars and other signs of age I won´t write here. Bur I have not accepted an awful hairdo or white hair.
Ihave noticed that some people have beautiful white hair. It is not my case.
Now in this last year the covid reached my hair.
As we were in quarantine and I went to stay at my friend Dixie´s home, she decided to cut my hair. After a while, she decided to ask for help to her husband, my friend Humberto. I hope they had fun. I was not happy with the result.
So today, I went to the beauty shop after over a year. I had my hair cut and dyed. And as aTV show does, I look 10 years younger. Coral told me to take a picture of before and after. But I could not take a selfie of the before. I did not dare look at the mirror before.

Tania, my daughter, took a selfie of us before and said I looked beautiful. It was daughter´s love only.

I will probably not like it so much after I wash it myself, but still it will be better. And the color is a nice light chocolate.

@marguicha - We can never do a good job as at they do at a salon, but it is surely better than before the cut. You surely look younger with a lighter hair color, light chocolate is great.

I’ve embraced my silver hair. The back under layers give the look of hours spent at the salon, in fact, every six to eight weeks the hairdresser comes to cut my hair and my husbands,
I’m not one to fuss with it…so wash and wear is my goal.

I usually just comb it. But now the hairdresser did something better.. My SILs silver hair is gorgeous. Mine is not so.

That's good you like the hair cut. The hairdresser I had been going to retired. So I went to another one and I didn't like the haircut. I hope it will grow some so I can get the haircut I really wanted at another salon.

Sometimes we have luck with a hairdresser sometimes we don´t. My hair cut is very nice.

I'm glad you are in love with the results. When I retired I stopped dying my hair; and it grew out a lovely silver color. I'm quite happy with it. I got it cut yesterday so I'm even happier.
