Sweets From My Sweet Neighbor

Yesterday my sweet neighbor invited me over for a party she gave her daughter. She is home from college. And these red velvet cupcakes were dessert. Oh my goodness were they good.
Apparently I bragged on how good they were too much. This morning she brought me two more to go with my coffee. Oh my goodness, again, delicious. I can only eat one at a time. Maybe I will have the other later this evening.
I told her I was going to have to visit the treadmill more days than usual. She just laughed and told me to have another. She is the best neighbor and friend. Good neighbors on both sides make life more enjoyable.

Those cupcakes really do look good and it was nice of your neighbor to invite you to the party (and bring you even more of those cupcakes)

That is a good mutual living, instead of some of the jealousy filled interactions we often tend to have in Apartment buildings and Residential societies.
Or may be when we have more density of population, competition and jealousy sets in!

I am blessed. I have never met some that recently moved in, these two on both sides I have known for a few years now. They are like family. Yes, I cook peach cobbler and brownies for the elderly man on the other side, he lost his wife 3 years ago to cancer. She was a sweet friend of mine. He shares tomatoes in July each year.

That cupcake in the picture looks very yummy. I had a craving for cupcakes so bought some. She really is a very special lady. I am glad you enjoy your neighbors and to have the one as a friend is better yet. I am a private person. I will say hi to people in the building but not get closer than that. I may have a conversation with them too but aside from that I do not like people asking questions. I have friends that I talk to for that. Does your neighbor friend have furry ones too or does she talk to the cats?

A lab retriever is a great dog and too bad that the dog got lost. Did someone take the dog or did the dog die? What a contrast a chihuahua and lab retriever are. I had a tabby cat and now my cat is a black and white one. I still have mine. I have glad you have some neighbors that you feel very comfortable to be with. Does she miss not having cats? She sounds like a very very nice neighbor.

Very good. She shared three in total and I finished them all. Had one earlier with coffee today. I am private as well. But these neighbors have been here fo rears, and we repeat our space, I don't see her every day. She does have a dog. A small chihuahua. She lost her labrador retriever she had last year. She used to have cats but not any more.
