After two years of waiting, the bluebirds have arrived in Dustin's garden. Last year, the tree swallows took over. So happy to see these bluebirds. There are FIVE babies in the house. I have been watching the bluebirds for a few weeks now. The first time around, a male bluebird was killed by a sparrow. Very sad. Then another male and female bluebird showed up. Built a nest. And laid five eggs. And in the middle of all of this, there were tons of other birds having babies as well. I was afraid the eggs would not hatch. But to my surprise, they did. And two days ago, five babies were born. I hope they will grow into healthy bluebirds. Fingers crossed for their success. So very excited to finally see my Bluebirds of Happiness once again. Photo is mine.

What a great grouping of photos capturing their early days. I hope that they will grow into healthy birds and grace your yard with their beauty.

I have been watching and waiting and hoping for success. So far so good. Most of the other birds are gone now, so the timing seems to be really good for them. Thank you.

I miss the birds I used to have and for some reason the wild parrots don't visit anymore!!! Keep the pictures coming!

Thanks Martin. Good to know they are appreciated by some. Too bad you don’t see the parrots any more.
