A Day Off

Happy Tuesday Everyone!! it's a bit overcast today with pleasant temperatures. The weekend was hot, hot, hot and I certainly wasn't ready for the heat of summer so soon. At least we're back to decent temperatures and it looks like a nice week ahead. Being retired is basically a day off every day but yesterday I took the day off and enjoyed spending it with my daughters. My youngest daughter was off from work so we had a mother-daughter day along with my oldest daughter. My granddaughter was going to join us but something came up and she wasn't able to. We went shopping, had lunch out and it was just a fun day all the way around. It was good to get away from the house and the computer. Today life is back to normal. laundry is in the wash, my daughter is working and the pups are snoring. It actually feels like a Monday to me even though it's Tuesday. Hope everything is going well in your corner of the myLot world

Everything is good. Today is my Friday at work anyway. We have cooler temps again this week but by the weekend they're supposed to climb up there again. It's supposed to rain here the next few days so I'll have off from both jobs if it does. I hope to get more meals cooked so my husband has some variety in what he eats. If it doesn't rain we may be able to find some window jobs for Fri.

You took a holiday along with me yesterday. I hope that the hot and muggy days are done for your area for a while, there is nothing better then having cooler weather and letting the fresh air flow thru the open windows.

You surely had a wonderful and different day. Nothing exciting at my side, I went out grocery shopping because we expected a very bad weather and pouring rain today... we did not even get a drop until now.

Yesterday was a holiday so today does feel like Monday to me. It is nice having mother and daughter outings from time to time.
