In my country, high school students are protesting by setting buses in fire.

The way people are protesting now in my country are very violent. Lately, the protests include setting buses and trucks in fire. Students are now protesting lately. There are many things they want. Some want free education, others even better toilets or classrooms.I don´t know if they are right in their demands but I am sure that fire is not the way to protest. And as the are minors, the law can´t do much about it. Many times I have read here about our ideas about teen marriage and teen pregnancy. I was pregnant at 18, was gointo the university and was in charge of a house. I was no minor except that my father had to sign to give me permission to get married. I don´t think that these young arsonists are so young that they don´t know what they are doing. I am also reading in the news about the shooting in Texas. The shooter, to my knowledge, was no minor.

Destruction of property is not the proper way to get leaders to make changes. The shooter in San Antonio Texas who was killed by the police was 18 years of age.

It seems that neither the people who protest nor the authorities have learned how to use a language that is not violent.

So many seem to think that they can change things by violence. It is getting worse all over the world.

If they are so violent at such a young age I don't know what they will do when they grow up. Hope they change and someone manages to put sense into them. Else some of them may grow up to become criminals.

I fully agree with you. In the United States they can drive a car at 16, that means that they are responsible enough to go to jail if they cause an accident and kill someone.

In this society, youngsters of 14 are fully aware of what they are doing. They are not children.

I believe that shooting is worse than the fire setting but one way or the other I say enough violence concerning kids and all I can do is pray that rational sense in some way can prevail

I cannot understand why they don´t talk about what they don´t like.

That's too much. That would aggravate social problems if not being curbed or control.

@marguicha That's the big question - how or when...

Violence seems to be the answer all around the world. We have to learn to use our words and protest peacefully.

Well, these teenagers in my opinion are dumb. How many of these protesters? by hundreds or thousands?
