Grumpier Than Usual

I have noticed that recently I have been more grumpy than usual. I am usually in a somewhat depressed state, but why so grumpy lately?
I know I have been using more of my anxiety meds lately and I wonder if that is the reason.
With all the inspections lately, electrician issues, and my upcoming cataract surgery I wonder if the added chaos is causing me to be grumpy. I am so used to a calm, quiet life. I have had to put off the cataract surgery until this year due to transportation issues. Now I can get it done and I am so anxious to do just that.
I will be so glad when my cataract surgery is over, inspections are behind us and we can all just relax and feel some calm again.
Do ever get grumpy?

@celticeagle It happens to me out of nowhere. Suddenly I find everything annoying, I am glad it does not last long.

Additional stresses can do it, they also increases the likelihood of side effects the more you take come to rely on any kind of medication.

@kaylachan ........I certainly will do that. I always have a list of things I want to discuss with my doctor.

@celticeagle Not a bad idea to talk with your doctor about it, if this continues to be a problem.

@celticeagle My wife is an expert at living with a grumpy old man. I prefer the words irascible, cantankerous and choleric.

Cantankerous is a good one. Choleric or irascible doesn't fit.

Maybe the meds are what's causing it.

Hardly ever. My husband is the grumpy one. I can be positive through pain and bad circumstances.

As you grow old would be one of the reasons for displaying a grumpy attitude aside from being triggered by your anxiety.

But, as I've said before, It has just come on out of the blue. It may have to do with my anxiety to some extent.

I am just troubled by the unknown. Many have said their experience wasn't painful yet I have heard this about other things and I was in pain while they weren't. So I just have to wait and see how I am affected.
