Birds on the electric lines

While waiting for my bus, I noticed lots of birds, just resting on the electric lines. Just by looking, there's got to be more than 50 birds just sitting on the lines. Licaty, is the merger if King and Beretania Street on Oahu. It was after 4pm, as I waited for my west bound bus. I changed it my homeward bus riding bus stop. Across from my bus stop, is the bird resting sight. Guess, these in birds rest before heading home to roost. Do you have a sight like this in your neck of the woods? You'll have to enlarge the picture to see the little birds sitting on the to wires. I tried to do it and save a picture, but it didn't work.

I have seen flocks of birds sitting in this way too. Like you, I wonder where they go when they leave.

I see these often as well. Mostly in the city. Not many trees.

I see. This place is the only one I've seen, with so much birds at one time, in the evening time.

I know, it's unusual to me too. Reminds me of Hitchcock's The Birds.

Yes, a few at a time, I see that too. This picture shows over 50 birds at one time at one place.

Usually it means that there is a change in air pressure. Is there a storm coming?

This is a very common sight here in the streets in the evening. Mostly we see crows or sparrows sitting on the wire. Also, I see pigeons on the crossings as people feed them.

Sorry, but where is Oahu? Do you currently live there?
