I haven't had pimento cheese for years. and probably the last time was on a cracker or something. I most certainly haven't had it in a sandwich for many years.. Pimento cheese spread is primarily a Southern thing although my mom used to buy the spread from time to time. It is good for something different. Have you ever had a pimento cheese sandwich? Have you had it period?

It's just you basic cheese spread. It isn't so different from ham or chicken salad.

I have had it and I like it Snowy. I have not had it in years though probably since I was in grade school. My Mom always used to buy that for us and ordinary sandwich spread too.

It's fairly common, especially in the South.

I am not a huge fan but it caught my eye at the local cheap store. It's Piggly Wiggly branded.

You might be able to find some made by Kraft or something in your area.

There is pimento growing in our yard and we use the seeds to season a wide variety of foods. So l must have had it in a sandwich spread sometime.
