A black bear sighting inside of a minor league baseball stadium

It is not every day that a black bear enters a minor league baseball stadium that was empty at the time of his visit and then leave after a few minutes to return to its home.
Yesterday during the daytime hours a male black bear came out of the visitors dugout at McCormick Field in Asheville Tennessee which is the home of the Asheville Tourists which is a minor league baseball team who is the farm team of the Houston Astros.
The bear entered the stadium by entering through behind the outfield wall and went through the home bullpen section which connects to the baseball diamond even though Hannah Martin who is the assistant general manager of the team admits she cannot prove it beyond reasonable doubt.
The bear walked around behind home plate before walking into the visitors dugout and through the ramp into the clubhouse where the players have their dressing rooms.
The bear then walked away from the stadium by the wooded area behind the Wicked Weed Brewing Pavilion.
Thank goodness no one was harmed in the incident in Tennessee yesterday.

Yes, thankfully no one got hurt; also for the bear's sake. It's such a shame that so many bears end up in people's backyards and pools and now in baseball fields.
I'd hate to see something bad happen to the bear where he would get hurt or worse.
Is there construction in the area by the way? Wildlife is losing their home from all of the construction going on.

I do not know about any construction sites near the stadium.

I'm glad the bear went back to his home after visiting the stadium.

Wonder if the bear was looking for the ballplayers before game meal in that clubhouse. Lucky it was empty. What a shock that would have been for the guys! That would be "unbearable."

That is a good question what would have happen if the bear saw any baseball players or what would they have said seeing a bear inside their clubhouse.

It is definitely a good thing the stadium was empty at the time. Pretty scary having a bear wandering around

The stadium would have been in panic mode had the bear entered during a baseball game.

I understand why bears are going to cities these days since their homes are vanishing.
