How often do you watch TV? / myLot

Read the news that Hong Kong's biggest free-to-air TV broadcast announced a record loss last year. The financial result marked the station's 4th consecutive years in the red. The company attributed part of its loss to the acquisition of an e-commerce platform which has yet to turn a profit. The company has also been struggling with the plummeting advertising revenue and viewership. Nowadays, I watch TV just for the news and occasionally good movies, sports events and some documentaries. I'm not interested in locally produced drama series and entertainment shows. In this internet age, with so many things to watch on the net, I don't think a lot of people, especially the youngsters, would sit in front of a TV for a long time. How much time do you spend watching TV a day? What type of programs are you interested in?

I dont watch TV anymore. Mostly Im in front of my laptop of using my cellphone.

I also watch TV news in the evening unless there's live broadcast of sports events in day time.

I spend very little time watching TV, I watch the movies and then we watch a movie with my husband. I would say a maximum of an hour and half a day.

I enjoy watching television and I'm interested in almost anything from a funny comedy series, drama or movies. I rarely use my tv for news and more as an escape from the news.
