You have to call them all out. No matter what side you are on. I say this in regard to the latest from our nut from the right (yes, we have them too), Marjorie Taylor Greene who has passed blame for a tampon shortage onto putting tampons in men's restrooms for women who think they are guys.
Sorry, that idea is as nutty as Marjorie's statement and I could not leave it out. Men don't use tampons. Ahem.
Remember, you have to call them all out. Nuts is nuts.
But the comment is ludicrous at best. I cannot confirm whether or not she made the comment "tongue in cheek," but considering other things I have heard from Marjorie Taylor Greene, she may have meant it. It may not have been said in a joking manner.
I am not even certain what context the comment was made. Either way I would surmise that supply chain issues of any kind should not be blamed on transgenderism. Especially considering even if men's restrooms are being supplied with them, apparently the number of vaginas has not changed.
If I will be using any tampons I will have them in my ears.

What is sad is that we let nut cases like her hijack our politics. And it happens on both sides of the aisle. Why do we even give them the time of day?
I agree with you on your suggested use of tampons...I would stick them in my ears too if it would hep drown out MTG's filth spilling out of her mouth.

@porwest I’ve always said, us Americans get the government we deserve. We’re the idiots that keep voting these morons back into office each election cycle.

The vote is a funny thing. Because obviously someone has to cast it to let these people stick around. And stick around they do. You have to wonder how that happens that enough people find what these people say and do worth being in a governing position.

That's crazy. I don't use tampons, but I think it might be a good thing that there is a tampon shortage because they can be toxic.

@JESSY3236 Although toxic shock syndrome is of course a real thing, it is extremely rare. But because it CAN occur, for legal reasons of course, they have to put it on the box to make consumers aware of the rare possibility.

Putting tampons in men's bathrooms does not lower the amount of tampons lol. If you have 100 tampons you still have 100 tampons no matter where you put them. No?
Men's bathrooms shouldn't need tampons anyway since real men don't have where to insert them lol. I say, if you don't have a man's thing don't go to a man's bathroom.

Yes, there are nut cases on every side. Most recently it was baby formula, now tampons. Walmart has been out of a LOT of stuff for months. I feel like we're in Russia.

@LindaOHio It has been such a weird time lately and one wonders when we will feel like things are actually back to normal? It started with Covid and now this. Weird times.
