A piece of advice you...

...received. Let me share one of my mother's tips for selling physical items. My mother has always enjoyed selling dry goods to others. I noticed a strange thing among her products one day. "This item may not appeal to you, but it may appeal to others," she explained. Because I sell online, certain of my things are tailored to the preferences of my customers. I didn't expect them to be sold out. I suddenly remembered my beloved mother in heaven in this scenario. Any pieces of advice given by someone? Care to share here? Image Credit: shutterstock.com

Nothing about selling things here, we do not do well in this area. I am glad your Mother's advice came to your mind

I must say that I cannot sell these things here in my city, but they are more appealing to other cities and provinces in my country.

I offer various dry goods to capture the target customers online through Shopee. Lately, I am planning to find suppliers of woodcrafts, especially coming from Baguio City.

It's nice that your selling online brought back some good memories of your mom

I don't understand what you need advice for. In German there is a proverb which - translated into English - is, "What is an owl for someone is a nightingale for someone else" It means: tastes differ! --- Btw, why do you mention that your mother sells 'dry' things'? Nobody in their right mind would sell wet things, wouldn't they?

It was transcribed dry things, which I edited now. I am referring to 'dry goods' or tangible products. Thanks for the quote.

@Shavkat I don't see that you've edited the text. Yet, I find 'tangible' also rather odd. Everything you can touch with your hands is 'tangible' accordig to the dictionary. Why don't you just mention some of the goods so that everything is clear?

@MALUSE Tangible things are clothes, books, etc.

I am still figuring out how to do the 'mystery box' virtually on this shopping app.

I have tried selling products online before and unfortunately I have not been successful in my attempts. I got tired of trying to persuade people and gave up on sales.

I can feel you. I just only started to sell online. Personally speaking, I did for a new hobby this year. By the way, welcome to myLot.

You never know what is going to appeal to a person. Your mother was quite right.
