These cats are not owned or owned but carelessly taken care of. They walk and run about in the neighbourhood. Many times, they go up to the roofs of the neighbours and what is worse is yhat they poo and pee at will. What's your opinion on these cats?

Most of the cats who walk in the gardens during the day here have owners. Cats do not pee on the roofs here, cats like to dig a hole and do what they need in the dirt and cover it.

You're right. That's why my cat did.

@Beestring This is what all cats do, if they have the habit to go outside, cats dig.

Cats are very independent and are rarely trained to stay close to their owners. Because of this, many of them prefer to be strays rather than to be in a pack like dogs. They value their independence, thus they don't search for an adoptive parent because they can support themselves.

Cats have owners here and don`t disturb other homes. They enjoy the nature. I always see them playing around the trees

Those are better cats and sort of trained cats.

Stray cats here are caught and, if nobody claims them, they are put to sleep. What is done about stray cats where you live?

No one seems to do nothing about the cats. On fact a few try to catch and put them elsewhere.

@yanzalong Aren't they a real nuisance to everyone who lives there?

They wouldn't really be tolerated here. The ranger would pick them up and either rehome them or eventually put them down.

No one feed them here, which is why the cats "steal" the food from home owners. The cats sneak in through the slightly open doors.

@yanzalong Oh, I understand. I thought some of the people there fed them.

My daughter and I were just discussing there should be an animal shelter in our community/country. That is the situation here as well.

Neighborhood cats are roaming especially the male ones during mating season. Or they're looking for foods. We have some Neighborhood cats and my wife feeds them.

Cats are animals that cannot be domesticated. But I think if you have an animal you should take good care of it. Mainly neuter. I don't have any pets but here in my backyard cats appear to do their business. I confess that this irritates me too. However, despite this inconvenience, I have never mistreated any animal and will never do so. Here it is common for people to throw poison to animals or abandon the animals in distant places or on someone's doorstep. We have laws against this crime, but they are still lenient.

That's what I have been thinking about. Have planned to catch them and place them in places where the cats can find lots of food.
