One I may have shared or not. I don't remember. But just a little song I wrote and recorded in 2006 called El Encanto. Was just experimenting with a little Spanish at the time and of course, as is always the case with my own music, just doing my own thing and having a little bit of fun. For all the new bleeding ears out there, I offer earplugs at a discounted rate with discount code "Help me please." Let me know if you need any. lol

Sounds good to me. But you need Vanny as producer. She demands subtitles. Even if the song is in English.

lol. I will have to keep in mind. She probably charges too much of a pretty penny though.

Lo más importante es que lo estás intentando. A pesar de lo que alguien diga, no eres un idiota total.

@JimBo452020 did you understand what he wrote? @porwest don't you think you should translate for those of us that never took Spanish?

It basically translates to a girl putting a spell on me and stealing away my heart—a guy falling in love.

Thank you. Glad you liked it. I remember writing the arpeggiated riff and then building the song around it, which is often how it happens—even though chord progressions are usually where things start. Haunting is a good way of putting it. It FELT like it had a Spanish slant to it and so I decided to write the lyrics in Spanish and went from there. I was actually surprised a little bit that the riff worked considering it is essentially Am to Dm. Usually you'd go to a simple D. But it did drop the Am into Asus2 and the Dm into a Dsus2, which is not at all ucommon. Not a masterpiece, but I was happy with it.

I don't remember hearing that one before. I like the music it reminds me of when I listened to hard rock back in the seventies. I don't know Spanish so can't appreciate that part.
